Roseland Theater Portland
The Roseland Theater is managed by Double Tee Concerts, a company created in 1972 by David Leiken. Double Tee is the biggest and also the oldest concert Co. in the State of Oregon. The Roseland Theater is a premiere concert venue. The Roseland Theater Complex encompasses the Roseland Theater itself, with ahuge stage, excellent acoustic, arena-level production equipment and superb sight-lines. It has capacity of one thousand, four hundred and 10 concert-goers. There have been many amazing and famous live recording done at this venue. The lists of artists is long and distinguished and includes Bob Weir, Foghat and Prince. The list of artists who have performed there is even longer, with acts such as Miles Davis, Bob Dylan, Jerry Garcia, Pearl Jam, Bonnie Raitt and Tina Turner, and so many more.
The complex also features a 1st class bar and restaurant called Peter’s Room, which itself has a large capacity of approximately four hundred patrons. It can also be used as a much more personal concert showcase for upcoming and independent artists, and has helped launch the careers of artists likes the Strokes and John Mayer. Peter’s room combine with Roseland Theater itself do approximately one hundred and fifty and one hundred an eighty concerts and events each and every single year.
The Roseland Theater also has an on-line presence where you CD’s through iTunes of artists that have played at the venue.
For the Artists themselves the Roseland Theater has private Dressing Rooms, restrooms and showers, as well as laundry facilities.
